T-Board Install Manual (updated)
Installation
The Universal T-board must be installed to function properly. Below, you will find explainations and
examples of part of the installs. Soldering is required and we recommend having the board installed for you if you
are not comfortable with installing it yourself.
The Main Connector
(Clapper Example A, EP noid Example A, Closed bolt Example A)
(Clapper Example B,
EP noid Example B,
Closed bolt Example B,
Closed bolt Example B with Relay)
TYPE B
Membrane pad Example
Dye membrane connection:
Yellow - Power Button
Orange - Common (for membrane pad)
Green - Eye Button (setup)
Trigger Example
Trigger switch:
White - Trigger sense (NO pin) (NC pin for A-5 E-grips)
Black - GND (common pin)
Option:
Orange - 5V (when board is on, 100MA max load)
LED Example
LED:
Brown - Common Cathode
Green - Green Pin
Red - Red Pin
Blue - Blue Pin
Battery Example (With 6800uF Cap for Clapper noid)
Power:
Red - 9-12VDC power
Black - GND
Eyes (IR) Example
Pre-wired IR Breakbeam eyes to Universal T-board wires
IR LED (Clear)
-Black wire (Positive) to Yellow (Eye LED Positive)
-Blue wire (Negative) to Black (Eye LED GND)
Phototransistor (Dark)
-Black wire (Positive) to Green (Phototransistor negative)
-Brown wire (Negative) to Orange (Phototransistor positive)
Eyes (Colored) Example
Pre-wired Colored Breakbeam eyes to Universal T-board wires
Colored LED (Clear)
-Colored wire (Positive) to Yellow (Eye LED Positive)
-Black wire (Negative) to Black (Eye LED GND)
Phototransistor (Clear)
-Brown wire (Positive) to Green (Phototransistor negative)
-Black wire (Negative) to Orange (Phototransistor positive)
Solenoid Example
EP valve (recocking valve/DM noid):
Orange - Positive for EP noid
Blue - Negative for EP noid
Clapper/ION solenoid:
Red - Positive for noid
Brown - Negative for noid
NOTE: On the Open-Bolt Universal T-board, the Solenoid and EP Valve BOTH fire. So you do not have to make any changes
for a marker that uses a clapper noid (Spyder/Wrath) and one that uses an EP valve (Fusion/DM). And you can use the Solenoid
wires for an EP valve. Just lower the dwell until you get the performance you like.
